There is speculation that we are spending up to \u00a32m on this scheme. We would like to make it clear that we have absolutely no intention of spending anything like this sum of money on this proposal. Our current expectation is that the scheme would cost up to \u00a3100,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018up to \u00a32m\u2019 reference is from a field on the application form which is populated from a drop down list with only three options \u2013 up to \u00a32m, between \u00a32m and \u00a3100m and over \u00a3100m. We understand that these options are set through the National Planning Portal through which people can apply for planning consent on line.
