Specialist designers and builders from Betongpark will be on site along with representatives from Redbridge Council and Vision Redbridge to share early ideas and, most importantly, to listen to your ideas on key elements of the new skatepark, including its features and the overall design, the layout and accessibility for all skill levels, and its visibility, and ease of supervision. Whether you skate, scoot, BMX, or simply care about local spaces, this is your opportunity to help shape the design of a modern, safe, and inclusive facility for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The existing skate park, much loved for over 30 years, was recently inspected by an independent Safety Inspector and unfortunately found to be unsafe and was removed in June. While routine repairs and maintenance were carried out for many years, the time had come to retire the existing facility. The Council have committed to replacing the with a new modern skate park facility as quickly as possible to minimise the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
