King Charles III Coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure will be hosting a number of activities across the borough of Redbridge to celebrate this joyous occasion.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This year, we will celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. To mark this special occasion, we are encouraging the residents of Redbridge to get involved in our amateur gardening competition by creating a garden fit for the King!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone can enter whatever their level of gardening expertise. To enter, you all need to create the best garden in whatever category you choose by planting lots of beautiful shrubs and pretty flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vision RCL is introducing a brand-new category for 2023, <\/a>Best Sustainable Planet-Friendly Garden<\/em><\/strong>, in honour of King Charles III, a staunch advocate for improving the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redbridge Outdoor Arts joins Ilford BID to celebrate the King’s Coronation on Saturday 6 May from 12-5.30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ilford Town Centre The King’s Garden will host the BEES! Colony, Vegetable Nannies and the Plunge Boom Allotment for all to enjoy our new King’s passion for the environment & gardening with a twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wander round the garden to discover a whole new world of bees, meet the Vegetable Nannies and their unusual brood, take some time out to join them in the allotment for some gardening and childcare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet the Vegetable Nannies at 12pm, 2pm & 4pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The King’s Garden opens from 12:30-1.30pm, 2.30-3.30pm & 4.30-5.30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
