When visiting our parks please follow social distancing guidelines set in place by the Government. You must remain 2 metres<\/strong> away from others at all times, keep dogs on leads at all times , try to avoid touching surfaces such as gates and railings and remember to wash your hands when you get home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All parks and open spaces across Redbridge are open for daily exercise and fresh air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before visiting the parks, please ensure that you are ready to use the equipment safely by reading these simple instructions. Plan ahead for safe fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guidance for using play areas in parks and open spaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Parents must read this guidance and ensure their families follow it carefully for the safety of their children and others.<\/li>
  2. This equipment is checked regularly for damage and wear and tear, but is not sanitised or disinfected.   <\/li>
  3. This is shared equipment, used at your own risk.<\/li>
  4. Do not use this equipment if you or any member of your household has coronavirus symptoms, or are self-isolating. <\/li>
  5. You are advised that children should not use this equipment if they are clinically or extremely clinically vulnerable. <\/li>
  6. Make sure you have hand sanitiser with you before entering the play area.<\/li>
  7. Encourage everyone in your family to wash their hands with hand sanitiser regularly and as a minimum before and after using the playground. <\/li>
  8. Encourage children to avoid touching their faces. <\/li>
  9. You MUST maintain social distancing from others unless they are from the same household – current advice is to maintain at least 2m and consider wearing a face mask. <\/li>
  10. Some equipment can only be used by one child at a time while social distancing.  Please ensure your family waits at a safe distance if the equipment is in use or return later to use the equipment<\/li>
  11. Please ensure that 1 family member only accompanies a child in the play area<\/li>
  12. Try to avoid busy times. <\/li>
  13. If your family is wearing disposable PPE, please take it home with you or where provided use the bins \u2013 DON\u2019T LITTER. <\/li>
