We are taking the Government\u2019s advice very seriously and have implemented changes across our service to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff during these unprecedented times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Most of our facilities have re-opened and our events and activities are slowly re-starting across the service. Please note that reopening dates are subject to Government guidance, and we will continue to update this page as and when we receive more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-color has-pink-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-guidance-when-visiting-our-centres\">Guidance when visiting our centres<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Vision events are still taking place as planned. If you are\u00a0planning to attend one of our events,\u00a0we\u00a0do\u00a0recommend\u00a0that you undertake a lateral flow test before attending.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will not be legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. For customers and staff safety, we have put some changes in place. <a href=\"https:\/\/visionrcl.org.uk\/libraries-learning\/covid-19-guidance-for-libraries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Please read our guidance notes before visiting as we will be operating a reduced service.<\/strong><\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">A fines amnesty is in place which means that there will be no charges for overdue materials and books will be automatically renewed until <strong>30 September<\/strong>. Please note that from 1 October normal charges and fines will apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vision-heading-stretch\" id=\"h-parks-open-spaces\"><strong>Parks &amp; Open Spaces <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">All <a href=\"https:\/\/visionrcl.org.uk\/parks-outdoor-spaces\/parks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>parks and open spaces<\/strong><\/a> are open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">All of our public toilets and cafes are now open. Our play areas and outdoor gyms across Redbridge parks are open but <a href=\"https:\/\/visionrcl.org.uk\/covid-19-guidance-for-parks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>please read the guidance on using these facilities before visiting.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">When visiting our parks please follow the parks safety rules set out below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>DO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-8ef1aaf8-3dc1-4917-81b3-773b0c43e322\" class=\"wp-block-list has-normal-font-size\">\n<li>Keep a safe distance from others, especially during busier times<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spend as long as you wish in our parks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walk, run, cycle or workout in our parks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep dogs on leads at all times<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid touching surfaces such as gates and railings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wash your hands when you get home<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use our sports courts (including MUGA and basketball) and outdoor gyms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit our cafes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>DON&#8217;T<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-normal-font-size\">\n<li>Bring barbecues, they are <strong>NOT <\/strong>permitted in any of our parks  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave litter in the parks, if the bins are full, please take your litter home with you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Foxburrows Farm<\/strong> at Hainault Forest and <strong>Fairlop Waters 18-hole golf course<\/strong> at Fairlop Waters remains closed for the time being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Angling<\/strong> lakes at both <strong>Hainault Forest<\/strong> and <strong>Fairlop Waters<\/strong> are now open for fishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Allotments<\/strong> remain fully open, but please consider social distancing from others when visiting your allotment site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vision-heading-stretch\" id=\"h-covid-19-testing\"><strong>COVID-19 Testing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Vision RCL have teamed up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redbridge.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Redbridge Council<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>NHS<\/strong><\/a> to provide <strong>Redbridge Town Hall<\/strong> and <strong>Sir James Hawkey Hall<\/strong> as vaccinations sites, and have been experiencing a high volume of calls relating to this. <strong>Please be aware that Vision can not provide information regarding your vaccinations<\/strong>, and all information will be directly provided by the NHS. The NHS will contact those eligible so we ask that you please wait to be contacted first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Rapid COVID-19 testing for residents is available at <strong>Redbridge Central Library.<\/strong> These rapid tests are strictly for those who don&#8217;t have any COVID-19 symptoms and can\u2019t work from home.
