Youth Choir<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Youth Choir is for pupils at secondary school (Yr.7) up to 21 years of age. The choir sings a wide variety of music including jazz, pop, classical, musical theatre and music from other cultures. They perform at RMS concerts throughout the year, including the Christmas concert at the Town Hall and as part of the Royal Albert Hall festival. This academic year, there are plans to take the choir on a residential and for additional performance opportunities. Members of the Youth Choir have the opportunity to audition for a subsidised Music School 30 minute singing lesson. Youth Choir members do not need to be having formal singing lessons to join, but it helps to sing in the school choir.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rehearsals:<\/strong> Wednesday 6.00pm – 7.30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RMS Adult Choir<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

RMS Adult Choir is for all adults (18+) who enjoy singing. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to join in and have fun. The choir sings a wide variety of musical styles and members are consulted on the repertoire, so there is something for everyone.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singing Club<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Singing Club provides a safe space for children to develop their singing voice in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Good vocal technique is taught through a wide variety of styles, including pop, folk, classical, musical theatre and world music. Choir members experience singing in harmony and have opportunities to develop their confidence as a soloist. Singing Club is highly beneficial for pupils already playing, or wishing to learn an instrument, as the musicianship skills developed in this class create a foundation for all future music learning. \u00a0

Progression Routes: <\/strong>Singing Club members can progress to our auditioned choirs – Intermediate Choir and Youth Choir. Members of auditioned choirs have the opportunity to apply for individual singing lessons at Redbridge Music School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rehearsals:<\/strong> Mondays 4:30pm – 5:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Entry Standard:<\/strong> no previous experience necessary but advisable to belong to your school choir\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
