About the park<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Edwardian park has preserved most of its original features from over 100 years ago such as a large lake, an abundance of large mature trees, shrubs and flower beds. A popular open space with strollers, joggers and dog walkers who enjoy the pleasant surroundings as well as a number of facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Park has been honoured with the prestigious Green Flag Award 2024, which recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces, across the UK.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
