About the park<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Green Flag Award park with a variety of mature trees which provide a vista of colours particularly during Autumn months and will appeal to keen artists and photographers. There is a resting area in the centre of the park that has been recently landscaped and has been planted with shrubs and bulbs to provide an abundance of colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elmhurst Park has been honoured with the prestigious Green Flag Award 2024, which recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces, across the UK.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Flag Award<\/strong> Park<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The national standard for parks and open spaces in England and Wales recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country with Green Flag Status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elmhurst Gardens has retained its Green Flag Status for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentines Park<\/a> and Hainault Forest<\/a> in Redbridge have been named among the UK\u2019s top ten parks in the 2024 People\u2019s Choice Awards. This prestigious award recognises and celebrates parks that are clean, well-maintained, and inviting spaces for relaxation and recreation, and highlights the strong community support for Redbridge\u2019s beloved green spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have 10 parks across the borough with tennis courts, including Elmhurst Gardens that are available to book during park open times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
